Chrome: Extension to update a bookmarked link

I'm reading forums quite often were each page has its own URL. I always have the page bookmarked where I last left off.

When I continue reading new posts, I always have to delete the old bookmark then add the new bookmark. Or edit the existing one and copy the current URL (including an anchor to the last post) to the target of the bookmark.

This is quite aoying. Is there an extension to make it easier? In Firefox, there existed some extensions "Update bookmarks" to do so, which was a simple icon and when clicked, it updated the "old" bookmark with the current URL.
