How can I determine the causes for a particular event in Windows Server 2012

In the event viewer (Windows Server 2012) I can see that an action I am doing (attempting to print) is triggering an event (id of 310). I am trying to get to the bottom of a problem and it would be very helpful to understand as much as possible about this event (or any other going forward). Where can I find additional information about this event, either specific to my instance of the event or this event type in general?
