"kill -3" equivalent in powershell?

I'm trying to a get a Java Program ruing on Windows to perform a (java) Thread Dump; on Linux I would use:

kill -3 <pid>

Is there a Powershell equivalent of this ?

I tried:

debug-process -Id <pid>

This just brought up a Visual Studio Debugger (fair enough I guess) - but I couldn't see how to get a Java Thread Dump using this ?

I am also aware of 'SendSignal' (which I will resort to maybe) - but I just wondered if this was built into Powershell yet ? (I'm using PS 4.0).
