For anyone who has trouble coecting to WIFI, this is what I did for Windows 8.1 Best of luck.

1) Click the windows on your keyboard and go to the search bar. Type "HP Recovery Manager".

2) After when the "HP Recovery Manager" pops up, click "Reinstall drivers and/or applications".

3) Check/click "HP Wireless Button Driver for Windows 8", "Realtek Wireless LAN Drivers" or anything that has Wireless on it.

4) Click install.

5) Shutdown your computer/laptop. For some reason, when I restarted the laptop, it does not work and I restarted it and shutdown the laptop multiple times to figure out the issue.

6) After you shutdown the laptop, tu it back on and instead of coecting to the inteet, even if it suddenly does work, I went to the command prompt and open the command prompt with administration privileges. Afterwards, I typed "sfc /scaow". I let "sfc /scaow" run.

If "sfc /scaow" does not work, I typed "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" and let it run. Then I typed "sfc /scaow" and it seemed to work.

7) After when sfc /scaow" is completed, I shutdown the computer (shut down, NOT RESTART)

8)I tued the computer back on and suddenly my inteet works. For whatever reason, I do not know.... I hope this solves the issue for good... Good luck to everyone out there.

Another note (important): Avoid pressing the WIFI button on your keyboard and try to tu on/tu off your WIFI (or if you are going into Air Plane Mode), using interface method (click the tu on/tu off WIFI on your windows start bar) because again, I either have tremendous bad luck, but anything keyboard related seems to screw up things more for me.

So far, my laptop network coection seems to be working. It has been only one day. Has anyone encounter this issue before and does this solution work for anyone? Also has sfc /scaow helped anyone in other related issues? Thank you.
