Edge, Privoxy, and Amazon - an incompatible mix?

Originally on ServerFault, but I guess it's a end-user issue so:

I have a weird issue: Edge (Windows 10), Privoxy, and Amazon.Com seem to be an incompatible mix:

1. If I use Chrome & Privoxy (Enabled or Disabled), Amazon is fine.
2. If I use Edge & Privoxy (Enabled or Disabled), Amazon is a weird text-only thing.
3. If I use Edge and bypass the proxy, Amazon is fine.

What steps should I take to see what's happening? I would've thought that disabling Privoxy would've made the "weird text-only thing" go away (then I could start putting in more rules about bypassing Amazon), but there's something deeper here...
