Search content of odf (odt|ots|odp) documents from command line

I want to search the content of some odf document (Libre Office document) from command line. I want something like:

odfgrep <search-patte> <file-name>

I found something of interest here. This blog has a shell script thats supposed to achieve the aforementioned function. But I dont know how to use it. I am new to shell scripting.

Also, my further goal is to be able to search some <search-patte> in all odf or txt that have some <file-name-pattes>.

I have asked this question on "Linux&Unix" stackexchange as well as I was not sure which one is a better forum for the same. The kind of questions looked similar to me on both forums.
