I had my damaged laptop screen replaced recently, however after the replacement everything in the windows UI is doubled in size. Everything is overwhelmingly huge now and makes it very hard on my eyes to read and GREATLY reduces my workspace as I can no longer reasonably place windows next to each other or even see as much contents as I used to. The guy who replaced the screen spent several hours trying to fix it (after I took it back to him after noticing the problem and spending several hours myself trying to fix it) with no luck. The model number for the screen he installed is the same as my old one (I'm not exactly sure what the model# was though)
The resolution is normal/the same as it was before and the highest setting possible (1366x768). I tried every possible scaling/size option that I could find and nothing would let me make it smaller; reducing text size doesn't scale the text containers down either; DPI will not go under 100% nor the "Scale Everything" option. I could not use the magnifier to scale under 100% either. No disability options are enabled.
I tried updating all graphics/video/display drivers but it had no effect.
The only screenshot of my old screen I could find was from a video I had, so here is a comparison of the two showing the same applications open: UI Size before replacement vs how it looks now. As you can see, the application in the background does not even fit on the screen anymore to show the entire contents of the tool and all window sizes are overwhelmingly big.
Any help resolving this issue would be SUPER appreciated!
