6 second delay between using the keyboard and my mousepad working

I recently updated to Windows 10 on my HP 2000 Notebook, and have noticed a couple things that started happening..

1. There's a six second delay. Say I need to type something right now, in order to use my mouse pad again.
2. A random, what looks like terminal, keeps popping up and disappearing before I can see what it says. It almost looks like I'm being logged, but I've searched through all my program files, and done a netstat on everything and can't seem to find anything suspicious.

Now I've done some research on this and discovered I'm not the only one who has had the problem with the mouse pad. I've gone to the websites, but unfortunately everything they've told me to do hasn't worked.

Does anyone have any idea what could be going on with this, especially with the random popup all the time? Thanks ahead of time.
