Is there an accurate Windows CMD.EXE emulator for Unix?

As the title says, I'm looking for a Unix application which emulates Windows CMD.EXE as closely as possible, in order to test batch scripts from within a Linux environment.

I have tried DosBox, which lacks variable expansion, among other things. I have also tried Wine, which is not fully accurate, as it lacks certain for-loop features I require.

Any thoughts?
