no internet coection windows server 2012 setting up remote desktop coection

I'd like to setup my Windows 2012 Server so I can Remote Desktop Coection from my client (windows 10) with the static IP that I'm going to give to the server. (So not through a site). After having installed a fresh windows server 2012 on my Virtualbox I also installed AD DS and DNS but haven't configured them furthermore, except for making my server the domain controller.
