Tracking Windows update End points

OS : Windows 7 x64

I have a batch file that kicks on system startup with following contents, Goal i to install all updates right at the system startup wuauclt.exe /detectnow /updatenow

Restart my system and it has system uptime at 9:51pm EST

After startup i see that wuauclt.exe is ruing in TaskManager so i am assuming it's triggering my above command possibly detecting or already installing based on update now switch

I am looking at %systemroot%Windowsupdate.log using bare tail and log ends at 9:55pm EST

it seems it's still ruing detectnow but no activity in the logs

Question:

Need help clearly tracking Windows Update, I would like to highlight bare tail so that i can see whether i am my windows update Like what is the begiing line of Detection, ending of detection and startup and end of installing?
