My Question: Is there a way to run MS Access from Windows Task Scheduler using the "Run whether user is logged in or not" option?

Background: I am experiencing a similar issue to Windows Task Scheduler wouldn't launch Access database and How to run an Access script using windows task scheduler which unfortunately do not have the answer I am looking for.

I have a 5 step task setup to run in Task Scheduler on a Windows 7 Pro workstation. The first 4 steps are ruing batch jobs to rename and move files. They complete successfully.

The 5th step is to launch Access on the local machine, open a database on the network and run a macro.

The task is ruing under a service account with full rights to the network, and runs successfully when logged onto the machine as the user.

Problem comes that the intention is to have the task run using "Run whether user is logged on or not". When this is enabled the Access step will launch and say it is ruing but nothing will happen. I believe that this is because it is launching in "non interactive" memory space - Session 0. I tried creating a simple .bat file with the commands but with the same result.

I can set the workstation to automatically log in as the service account user and lock, but would prefer to have a solution that does not require anyone to be logged in. Any suggestions appreciated.
