Windows 7 PC, Google blocked. All other sites OK

All google sites seem blocked with "This page can't be displayed" Error. I can ping all the google servers but even trying the IP doesn't work. Same message.

I have checked hosts files. I have done combofix, Malware Bytes, Ccleaner. I have manually searched the registry for a sneaky pest. Full AV scan completed. Same using Chrome and Firefox, so it's not IE.

First person to suggest system restore can punch themselves in the face a few times.

Pulling what's left of my hair out here. Thanks for any ideas!
