Headphone not detected but working partially

I am using ASUS n550jx laptop that has a built in Realtek sound card. I have had a lot of problems before with Realtek and here's another one. All of the audio devices that coects with the audio jack input is not recognized in sound option in control panel, but they are detected by Realtek. The devices are working, but in the sound option in control panel,what is shown to be working is the Realtek Built in Speaker. This, however, disables my option to configure the device, and has led to some other problems.
