No boot devices showing/recognised after complete HDD wipeout on a asus x553ma

I have a Asus x553ma that was ruing W8. In order to reinstall W8 (the machine was, being polite, sluggish) I wiped out the entire HDD and formatted it to ntfs (using Gparted Live), then I tried do recover de W8 product key from de UEFI via a bootable cd with lazesoft recovery suite (I was assuming that during the W8 installation process the PK would automaticaly be recovered and applied since it is on the UEFI). The cd didn't work and now the bios is not showing ANY boot device. What could it be? I've tried to reset the bios to factory settings, didn't worked, I've tried to insert again the W8 cd, jumps straight to bios (in fact the machine is jumping always to the bios, there's not boot devices right? :/). I only can assume that the lazesoft recovery suite damaged/corrupted the bios. I haven't found nothing online about the subject. Can anyone please help me?
