Disconnecting Xbox One controller from PC without removing it from the USB slot

This might seem like a weird question, so a quick summary. The way my rig is set up lets a specific number of cables out back through my desk. It's a little hard to explain but what it essentially means is that disconnecting a device manually from a USB slot from the back, manually takes quite a bit of energy and time.

This is truest for my Xbox One controller (wired) connected to one of my USB slots on the back of my machine.

I was wondering if there was some software, hack or technique I could employ to easily disconnect my controller without having to go through all the trouble of manually unplugging it from the USB port?

Like, is there a way I can have Windows not see it, or deactivate it temporarily or something?
