I have an Nvidia 1070 and three monitors. Two are 1080p one is 1440p. I run Windows 10 x64. Say I have google chrome (it happens to other windowed apps) maximized on one of the side 1080p monitors. SOMETIMES when I lock the computer and come back to it later (after the screens have gone to sleep -- my computer never goes into sleep mode though), the window will have shifted from maximized position to 50% to the right and 50% down but still the same size so it's off the screen...It's not always in that position though, but it seems like it thinks my screen is 1440p on the side and it repositions things weirdly. I'm not sure how to better describe this. I'm hoping someone has had this problem ...

I have a VM with Remote Desktop access enabled. It runs a regular Windows 8.1 Pro setup. I want to be able to login on my laptop without having to create and login to a local account before I can do that. The laptop has Windows 8.1 Pro installed. Basically when I tu on my laptop I want to enable a screen with IP/Computer, Useame and Password. I would then use the VM RDP settings to login. Is that possible? I have a .vmdk file i exported from the Noxapp (android emulator), i tried to extract files with 7zip , there are 3 .img files. I can extract the 0.img and 1.img , but it gives me error "unexpected end of data" on the 2.img file which contain my data , is there any way i can recover my data? I am using a spreadsheet that contains constant data; I would like to be able to populate the cells on another spreadsheet with this data when a condition is true. I.e. The target spreadsheet is used to prepare estimates. When the user selects a predefined price quote from the spreadsheet containing the constant data, I would like to move this data to the Estimate Spreadsheet. I've installed debian 7.1 to my USB stick. For some reasons, installer didn't ask me about grub location, and just installed it. Now, when I start laptop without usb I see grub resque mode ("Error: no such device: .... ") , when I start it with USB things go as supposed - I see menu and can boot to Windows and Debian. I'm getting the following error message: Metadata kept in Windows cache, refused to mount. Failed to mount '/dev/mapper/veracrypt8': Operation not permitted The NTFS partition is in an unsafe state. Please resume and shutdown Windows fully (no hibeation or fast restarting), or mount the volume read-only with the 'ro' mount option. Assume I have my general dropbox folder, and my Photo/Video files in an another folder: /mnt/myhd/Dropbox /mnt/myhd/MyPhotosVideos Now, how can I upload all files from MyPhotosVideos to Dropbox without the need to copy/move them inside the Dropbox folder? If I copy them this takes (a lot of) extra space. If I move them I risk deleting the files by the Dropbox daemon due to an (human) error. Can I solve this with hard links ? In Windows 7 (64-bit Ultimate in my case), is there any way to gain only the rights of an administrator account, rather than effectively "ruing" the application as <insert administrator name here>? I have installed Linux Kali on one of partitions of my hard drive alongside Windows 10 from USB Flash Drive (I had a bootable live version with HDD install option) and it's not booting when the flash drive from which I installed it is not inserted. When I tu on computer, GRUB appears, I choose Kali and it keeps showing me this I really don't know what can cause this. I've tried to set kali install partition as primary and flag it to boot but it didn't work. I have forgotton my iphone 4s passcode and im not able to unlock the phone. Each failure it increases the interval time and finally it is asking me to coect iTunes to restore . However, i tried to coect iTunes and then clicked on Restore iPhone option. Its upgrading iOS and finishing time approximately 3-4hrs If i upgrade iOS, will it unlock the passcode?
