I coected my LinkedIn profile with my Hotmail account (a decision I will rue rest of my life) and it resulted in all of my LinkedIn contacts birthdays being stored to my Outlook Calendar. Whenever I try to delete those birthdays from calendar, it doesn't let me even edit it. It's quite agonizing as I don't want these birthdays on my calendar. Can anyone help me there? Thanks! My Postfix server was working fine until last days but now, I can't receive emails from outside (I mean with an email of different domain name like gmail for example). I must make notice that I can send email from the server to gmail. I am ruing Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and am using Vagrant to run a Ubuntu 14.04 Server with a LAMP stack setup. I am working on a Laravel 5.2 project, but constantly have issues with the permissions in the storage folder/sub-folders. Currently, the folders are owned by my user/group. Anytime some file needs to be created or written too, I get a permission denied error. I can fix this with by chmoding the files to 777. This however does't fix the issue of having the problem when a new file is made (for sessions). I could set the files/folder to inherit permissions of 777. This is fine for a development server I suppose, but I would like to do this the right way, not just the fast way. What permissions...

I have .mkv file with list of embedded subtitles. I don't have any subtitles files in the folder, they're all already in the file. So, i need to display 2 of them simultaneously: e.g. english as 1st, main subtitles, and russian as 2nd. For this purpose i use KMPlayer 4.1.1.5. Problem is only with 2nd subs. I'm able to choose main subtitles: when i choose RMB -> Subtitles -> Subtitles languages, i can see list of all the embedded subtitles, it works well. But for 2nd subtitles i'm only able to open subtitles from subs file, not from the list: there is no list at all for second subs. I have a home network built around an ancient computer that I've tued into a router, ruing Debian Wheezy. The wireless part is based on a TP-LINK TL-WN851ND PCI card on the hardware side, and uses hostapd on the software side. Now, I have recently obtained a new phone, on which I am ruing CyanogenMod 12.1 (equivalent to Android 5.1). This device can coect to my wireless network, but most network operations (e.g. downloading things) result in timeouts, requiring retries. I have been trying to deploy an OVA to AWS. And came across a strange problem. AWS looks for file with name 'grub.conf' in all partitions and doesn't deploy OVA if multiple files exist with name 'grub.conf' in any location. I have Aspire E5-571G-55ST laptop and tools like CPU-Z and Speccy show that I have 2/4 slots used... Even Windows Task Manager shows that I'm only using 2/4 slots... But when I opened up the laptop to put in 2 RAM's in the 2 leftover slots, I found out that the motherboard has only 2 physical slots, or I'm not seeing good??? I am trying to setup an OpenVPN server on my desktop that I will coect to on my laptop (both ruing windows 8.1 64-bit, with the 64-bit versions of OpenVPN installed). The setup procedure calls for the easy-rsa package, which is no longer included with OpenVPN, but is available separately. I have installed easy-rsa version 3.0.1. The first step in the setup is to run "init-config" in command prompt in the directory "C:Program FilesOpenVPNeasy-rsa", but it fails, giving me the typical "not recognized as an inteal or exteal command, operable program or batch file" error. When iPhone is plugged in computer ruing Windows 10 it starts installing drivers. Windows doesn't show UAC screen, or user permission to install drivers. Sure, it is convenient, but what is the security model here? Does it mean that any usb stick can silently gain permission for arbitrary code execution? I have a permission issue that is driving me crazy. I am trying to monitor asterisk on an arch linux virtual machine, using the plugin "check_asterisk_peers". I have installed NRPE (the Nagios remote agent). I am trying to get an excel spreadsheet to update when a document is inserted into a file. For example I have a folder called day diary. Every few days I will insert a word document or PDF document into this folder. I would like for the excel spreadsheet to acknowledge that a document has been put in the file. Is this possible? I have a server that I ssh into all the time. I have ssh keys set up, but I'm noticing a strange behavior with video files that I'm trying to edit with VLC. As most know, with a program like Thunar, you can open individual files with VLC by double clicking in Thunar and you can also drag a selection of files onto a ruing instance of VLC to add them to a playlist on the fly. This works as expected with local files on the localhost. However, when browsing the remote server with Thunar, I'm able to open individual files with VLC by double clicking a single file, no problem...But, when I try to drag and drop a bunch of files into a ruing instance of VLC, I get a prompt that reads: Please enter ...

Its doing it while I write here now. My only way around it is to hit ctrl,alt,del. call up the task manager and hit cancel over and over again until the the black screen goes back to my active page and the cursor starts to blink. I thought it was my firefox browser so I tried reset and eliminating addons no change. I changed browser to Google Chrome same thing only it comes back quicker on chrome. I only have to do the ctrl,alt,del cancel thing a couple of times. On firefox it might take a dozen times and then only work for a few characters and hang again. I have a very strange behavior that I would like to understand on my home network. Sometimes I lost coection to outside (request timeout on ping 8.8.8.8 for few minutes) but I don't loose coection on already made link. For example I can have a google hangout call that will not drop but during this call I will see request timeout on 8.8.8.8 for few minutes. When I do an mrt and the coection drop. Windows 8.1 2 in 1 Tablet tied to unused Hotmail account whose password is forgotten? I have some old family folks who did not realize they created this, then they lent the machine to another old family member and now nobody remembers this password and this Outlook/ Hotmail account was never used by them. Apparently it was created by them when they went through the OOBE fresh machine process scenario. I am doing some major tech house cleaning for them. I doubt if we can do a reset via MS/ Hotmail and get a new password as we do not really have access to the Hotmail account as it was never used by anyone. I have a computer with built-in WLAN, and it just can't get any IP from the DHCP when using that adaptor. The signal strength and quality is excellent. Using the LAN adaptor or a USB-WiFi adaptor works just fine. To eliminate the router being the cause, I tried making a hotspot on my mobile phone, and the same behaviour repeats itself there: it coects without problems, but it doesn't get an IP from the DHCP server. I don't recall an account being locked when the user forgot to change the password before the deadline (I know this happens a lot in hardened Linux servers though). In case you it really did happen, assuming you have domain administrator access, you can: Login your domain controller as domain admin Open up "Active Directory Users and Computers" Go to "Users" Find the user account, right click and open "Properties" Browse to the "Accounts" tab and tick "Unlock account" This should unlock the account and when the user tries to login again (via console or Remote Desktop), Windows should prompt a password change.
