The objective is to set this machine up as a domain oppose to workstation so it acts the same as if it was in the office. I've established a successful VPN to the Server with no problems. I tried connecting to the domain using xyz.local however it couldn't find it. Since the Windows 10 Anniversary update my WIFI keeps going into limited connectivity and loosing all networks at the same time. Disabling/enabling the card from device manager allows me to use it 5-20 minutes after rebooting. I have a MacBook Pro and I ran Bootcamp to install Windows 10 Pro x64. All is well with both OS's. I know that I can't encrypt the entire Bootcamp drive, but everything I've read points to being able to use EFS to encrypt a folder, which is sufficient for me.
