I want to be able to login on my laptop without having to create and login to a local account before I can do that. The laptop has Windows 8.1 Pro installed. I have a dead-ish SSD drive. BIOS can't read it, Linux and Windows can't read it. It seems like the controller is not completely dead (it does identify itself).
