I have a client who has asked for a number of dropdowns in their form which can be any value between 1 and 240 months. I assume there must be an easier way to set this up than typing the numbers 1 - 240 multiple times? Alteatively - in fact preferably - is there a better control to use for this than a combobox? Few weeks back I tried tuing on my old PC as I wanted to use it as a spare Television. After tuing it on, I realized it was having blue screen problem, so I tried re-installing windows XP but installing in previous windows XP drive(C) failed as a result I installed windows in F drive. After successful installation I booted my new windows from dual boot and started wiping data from C drive, at first I tried formatting C drive which failed then I started deleting individual files from C drive. Currently I was making some graphs and manipulating some data. It looks pretty good so far. Problem is : I left my work computer at work, and need to have some graphs tommorow. The work computers generally all have Excel 2007. I was having some problems earlier today making the graph on my work computer and got home and dabbled around and finally got my desired graph. Now I'm not sure whether or not this is because Excel 2016 optimizes some things better, or I just formatted my data much better. Problem: When using google chrome browser (51.0.2704.103) on OSX (10.11.6) I often find myself losing my carefully ordered window placement between my many desktops. This happens if chrome happens to quit, or whenever OSX restarts. OSX tends to remember desktop allocation per application, but all chrome windows get bundled in the same desktop whenever chrome restarts. Using windows 7 Pro SP1 On my laptop, I have to use both a wired and wireless coection - some traffic (eg accessing specific systems) I can only access through the wired coection - and others only through the wireless coection. Both are company on-site coections - they're just not very joined up. At the moment, I have to switch between them through the day - if I leave both on, it's hit or miss which coection windows will try and use (but usually the wired), so I unplug/disable the one I don't want and then change back when I need it. Is there a better way of directing specific applications / protocols through to a specific coection? Or, if...

I have come across a website whose webpages consist solely of JavaScript. This website hosts videos that I would like to mirror. When I open this website in Firefox and read the page source, I see the JavaScript imports in script tags. When I inspect the page in Firefox, I see HTML, including a video tag. I presume the JavaScript has generated that HTML. (I have not programmed JavaScript, so I do not know its intricacies.) How do I go about expanding the JavaScript, after downloading the original page? I am after a command-line tool that does this. So I'm dealing with two different types of files on OSX El Capitan. They have the same file extension but have tags at the end of the file: (abc123_m.psarc and abc123_p.psarc). I have one folder (folder 1) with both _p and _m of the same files (same name, just different tag) and one folder (folder 2) with only _m files. My Setup My setup looks like this: Drive 1: Windows 10 System Drive - Joined to company domain. Drive 2: Windows 10 System Drive - Joined to personal domain. Drive 3: Fixed drive - additional storage for Drive 2. This gives me multiboot and allows me to share a hardware while keeping my work licenses and files separated from my personal. Problem Ive noticed there is still some cross contamination between the 2 OS's. In the file explorer, I can see and view the contents of all drives, including the additional system drive. Somehow, OS 1 detects my Microsoft account used on OS 2. It offers to let me log into my Microsoft account used in OS 2 in desktop apps (ex: OneDrive, SharePoint Designer)....

I have somehow generated a file on a network mounted volume that is in the busy state, and I have no knowledge of what could be using it. I want the file gone, and am not really conceed about whatever might be trying to use the file. I will document the process by which I created the file below. I have a file extension .vbsc which is associated with cscript and i'd like it associated with something else, even calc.exe I just want to be able to change the association but I don't seem to be able to. But I can for other extensions. Below is a demonstrartion. In the demonstration, I use assoc and ftype to create an association for a file extension .ab5 and the demonstration shows that works. I then change the association so it brings up another program, the demonstration shows that works. I then try it with my problem extension, and it doesn't work. I need to copy the network passwords for a couple of networks across several users on a number of machines. Too much work to log in and type it manually! I've found the 802.1X entries in the output of security dump "/Users/qa/Library/Keychains/login.keychain" and I've found security export/import but I don't see how to export the entries marked "desc"="802.1X Password" I can easily write a script to extract the 'dump' entries I'm interested in, but it seems there should be a way to select and serialise these entries, and to insert them into another user's keychain, without going via dump. If i have understood this correctly. The DHCP server will lease you an IP address, when you first coect to let's say a school network. If I move from the 8th floor to the 2nd floor, then I'll most likely coect to a different router. If the lease hasn't expired yet, how does the new router figure out what my leased IP is? and won't that be a little confusing if let's say i am coected to subnetwork 192.168.3.0 but have leased an IP that belongs to another subnetwork?
