I have a room full of machines that I have been upgrading from home to pro (Windows 10). All machines that are NOT aiversary update 1607 can be joined to a domain with no issues. All that are the aiversary update will allow me to join to the domain and it restarts and asks for the useame and password. Put in my credentials and it provides a generic "caot log you in" error message. I've also noticed lusrmgr.msc is missing (Local users and groups) in all of these 1607 upgrades. The earlier build -- no issues and lusrmgr is available. It's my understanding pro should be able to be joined to a domain. Is this not the case? Thanks ahead of time! :) Let's block ads! بخوانید...

When I try to update to the Aiversary Update it gives me after first reboot 0xc1900101-0x20017 before the copying files thing. Can anyone help me fix this issue? After installing the Windows 10 aiversary update, my computer boots very slow. The first part of booting (bios, loading Windows) is as fast as it used to be, but after logging in I'm stuck on a black screen with just my cursor for over a minute before it seems to continue with the login. I made a video to explain what I mean. Also, when I shutdown, Windows says that Spotify is blocking the shutdown - Which is strange because why would Spotify do this? It will stay on this screen for about a minute until it just gives up and I'm back on my desktop with everything except Spotify shut down. If I click 'Force shutdown' or close Spotify before shutting down, everything works fine. Let's block ads...

I have the Windows 10 Aiversary update ruing on a domain managed network (Windows Server 2012 R2) which uses Folder Redirection and Roaming Profiles. When logged in and coected to the domain, several applications including the Store, Groove Music, Feedback hub will not sign into my Microsoft account. Previously they would with no problem. Now however, they refuse to sign in with no errors (mostly), its as if the functionality has been completely removed as the sign in button does nothing. Strangely, if I log into the machine when outside of the domain which then uses my cached profile information, everything works OK! The only clue/error message provided was from Groove Music: Can't sign in ...

Since updating to the windows 10 aiversary I now have these strange lines of pink around every windows that isn't maximised.I found on Reddit that someone else is having the same issue as me, but there have been no replies to their problem, just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem? I'm trying to setup a VM in azure that runs Windows 10 aiversary update (oddly I couldn't find any VMs ruing that at this time). I picked the available Windows 10 Enterprize (I think was it was version 1511). Downloaded the ISO for 1607 from MSDN. Mounted it and ran the setup.exe then the machine rebooted. Now I'm stuck because of the First Time Experience Prompts. See ScrreenShot So the question is; how do I get past this prompt OR how to I skip the whole thing and just get a azure VM with the Aiversary Update? Since updating to Windows 10 1607 (the "Aiversary Update") my shared WiFi adapter isn't shared any more. I share the WiFi coection with a Hyper-V switch so that my VMs have Inteet access via the Surface Pro 2's WiFi coection. But since the update, this only works after manually disabling and re-enabling Inteet Coection Sharing. Otherwise the inteet sharing doesn't work even though the option is set in WiFi properties. I try to install the aiversary update on my Windows 10 operating system, but it fails with error code 0000400 I already tried update with Media creation tool, and Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant but with no success. I have 4 monitors, 3 1080P's and a 1366x768. Just updated to Windows 10 Aiversary edition, now under display settings, whenever I move the 1336 to where it's supposed to be, it works for a couple of seconds and then snaps back. I have had this setup since Windows 8, and have never had issues. To clarify, the monitor works at the position I set it to for a couple of seconds (1 is to the left of 3) and then it snaps back to 1 being undeeath 3. Whilst 1 == 3, I can drag Windows to the left to move to that monitor, once it snaps back, I need to drag down again to move to that monitor. Any ideas? Let's block ads! بخوانید...

The Windows 10 "aiversary update" is coming out tomorrow and according to some reports the group policy to disable the lock screen is no longer effective on anything below the Enterprise edition.
