Every once in a while I run a certain program (MATLAB) and it takes up too much memory. At this stage the physical mem is at ~100% and the computer barely works. I then terminate MATLAB and I can see the memory is freed on the task manager (image). However, it takes about 5-10 minutes until I have full control over my computer back. In these 10 minutes the computer gradually becomes usable, open programs get 'unfreezed', etc. I guess that if MATLAB consumed all the memory then some other program's data was saved in the swap mem, but is it okay for this process of 'recovery' to take such a long time? I'm starting working with ROS2 (currently in alpha7 state). For this I build up a small network with an Raspberry Pi (Raspbian Jessie) coected to an router via LAN and an host PC (Ubuntu Gnome 16.04) coected to the same router via WLAN. Inside the host are some virtual machines (using VirtualBox) installed with Debian Jessie and coected via a bridged network (wlp4s0). I can also use ping, ssh and scp between all my machines (Rasp, Host, VMs). I found that the Rasp doesn't coect to the VM's but the VM's are in contact to each other. So I can send messages between the VM's. But a talker-listener-coection between the Rasp and the VM's doesn't work. Can anyone give me some suggestions to find ou...

My Postfix server was working fine until last days but now, I can't receive emails from outside (I mean with an email of different domain name like gmail for example). I must make notice that I can send email from the server to gmail. I have unlocked my HTC device and installed TWRP and SuperSU. Then I accidentally leaked root access to one of Tencent's apps. The log says that the app has leaked root permission to KingRoot SDK: It uses root permission to execute something like 'kd -d krsdk.cert'. Then I removed its root access in SuperSU, however the app is still able to use root access. I then downloaded KingRoot, and it says that the device has already been rooted. I tried to unroot the device from KingRoot, however I could re-root it again with KingRoot. I tried restoring the device using a complete backup from the TWRP recovery (removing SuperSU and everything else just like factory default), but KingRoot still works....

This is a difficult issue to Google. I recently set up a Storage Space (3x 4TB) in Windows 10 and it worked as expected. No parity (Simple) as it’s only for backups. I then added another independent drive (1x 4TB) to the PC and in the process of trying to get Windows to recognise it I probably booted up with only 2/3 of my pool drives coected. Even with all three now coected; I now have no visible pool shown in Storage Spaces. This is fine - I'm happy to start again as it's only for backups - but the issue is Windows won't recognise any of the three drives (the new, non-pool drive is recognised) so I can’t format them and start again. I can see all three drives in the BIOS, but not in Window...

I just installed ionic following this guide. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/31041366/how-to-install-ionic-framework-on-ubuntu and also installed ionic / cordova using the command from ionic framework but when I start the app using this command ionic start todo example this message keep on showing up giving errors. I have a pair of earbuds with a microphone that I would like to record with instead of the terrible inbuilt one. Unfortunately, when I plug it in it still uses the inbuilt one. The icon next to the jack indicates that it is speaker and microphone, and the end of my audio jack does have four rings. The microphone works fine on my Android phone, so I know it isn't the earbuds' fault. I remember when I first plugged them, there was a dialogue menu that asked what I wanted to coect it as, and I selected sound and tried to select microphone, but it only let me use one so I selected sound and told it not to ask again. I'm trying to create a Powershell script that watches a folder for new MP3 files and converts them to M4A format using FFMPEG and FDK AAC encoder. Since fdkaac.exe won't take MP3 files as input, I use this command, which pipes from ffmpeg: ffmpeg -i $path -f caf - | fdkaac -p5 -b64 - -o $outfolder$outname.m4a This works just fine if I enter it into a command prompt and the resulting M4A file that's generated has no problems. However if I run this from Powershell, the M4A file is created but contains nothing but unpleasant white noise (and very faint traces of music). An ideas why that is so? I'm struggling to understand a behavior I can't explain in a sample network. Basically I want to be able to switch some of my servers by redirecting to a different server (so that I can point my applications to some database server for example and then switch the database coections to another server without changing the applications). I'm probably going to use something like rinetd for that, but I'm curious why some iptables rules are not working as I would expect. The sample network had 3 servers: gw (192.168.0.1/24), s1 (192.168.0.2/24) and s2 (192.168.0.3/24). gw is the default gateway for s1 and s2. Then I set up in gw's PREROUTING in the nat table to redirect traffic to 192.168.1.1:5432...

As you all are facing, I am facing the beta graphics driver-secure boot problem after windows 10 aiversary update, seems like microsoft hates non-WHQL drivers and I can't properly install beta drivers in windows 10 anymore. So I need to disable secure boot. But I can not disable secure boot from BIOS, the option is grayed out in BIOS. I even tried Windows->Settings Menu-> Update->Advance Startup->Troubleshoot->Restart-> UEFI FIRMWARE SETTINGS. The option is still grayed out. So I wonder how I can disable secure boot. You are seeing it because a driveletter was assigned to it. From DiskManagement, rightclick the partition, and choose Change drive letter and path, and remove the drive letter. If I right-click on that in Control Panel / Programs and Features, I get options for "Change" and "Repair".
