Ruing PHP 5.6.7 under Windows Vista. A few machines I use are dual-boot Windows (10, 8 and XP) and Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. Occasionally, I've intentionally hibeated Windows or have forgotten to use powercfg -h off in Windows before shutdown, so hiberfil.sys was left on the HDD. Though it is a good thing that Ubuntu prevents booting to Linux in those cases, preventing loss or corruption of Windows files, there is no waing, earlier, in the grub(x) bootloader, that Ubuntu should not be selected. Is there a simple addition to the bootloader that could wa the absent-minded, YMHS, that selection of Linux would fail, e.g. "graying-out" the Ubuntu options, or a printed waing?
