I connected my LinkedIn profile with my Hotmail account (a decision I will rue rest of my life) and it resulted in all of my LinkedIn contacts birthdays being stored to my Outlook Calendar. Whenever I try to delete those birthdays from calendar, it doesn't let me even edit it. It's quite agonizing as I don't want these birthdays on my calendar. Can anyone help me there? Thanks! I have a larger folder containing all my SVN files. I got attacked my a virus destroying some files but also corrupting SVN config files, so now TortoiseSVN cannot recognize it as a SVN folder. I can redownload the repository to other location but there are some files I didn't commit to it. I can see a lot of events 10000 and 10001 in the Application Logs of the Event Viewer. They relate to RestartManager and if looked closely upon I can see a lot of "StartingSession" and "EndingSession" entries. Fairly frequently, google drive on OSX will pop up with a message that tells me some files were unsyncable, with the offer to retry. I'm worried that these files will just go missing, or only be stored locally. Does google drive fix the syncing of these files later or if I do nothing will they just not ever be synced? Just like the title says, recently I've been noticing that when I'm selecting a group of items in a folder if I select some and click and drag over them again it deselects them. This never never happened before a couple weeks ago. I believe it started when I had an IT guy do a checkup on my PC. Is it not possible to make a permanent link to a bookmark folder? I want a URL which will take me to a specific folder, independently of which computer I am logged in at. Currently I was making some graphs and manipulating some data. It looks pretty good so far. Problem is : I left my work computer at work, and need to have some graphs tommorow. The work computers generally all have Excel 2007. I was having some problems earlier today making the graph on my work computer and got home and dabbled around and finally got my desired graph. It depends. It completely depends on what you're programming. If you are programming apps or need to use programming tools that require higher resource usage then I'd go with #1 and even go up to 16 GB ram. BUT, in general, both are perfectly fine. You can even get a laptop with lower spec and it should be fine. Again, it depends. Oh, and GPU only matter if you are programming graphics related software.
