I currently have an ASUS Maximus Formula with 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 RAM and Q9400 running @3.6 GHz. I am quite happy with CPU performance and I want to upgrade my graphics card and RAM as 4GB is not really enough for today's applications/ games. The problem is that on the specification of the motherboard it states '4 x DIMM, Max 8GB' and then it goes on to say 'Dual Channel memory architecture'. I have a Asus laptop x552vl-sx031d and I have pushed it up to 8GB DDR3 (2x4GB). Since I'm a software developer I really need more than that. So I wanted to buy 8GB DDR3L modules to replace my DDR3 modules, but I have two questions about that before I do. 1) Will it even work I know that DDR3L should be backward compatible with DDR3 in terms of voltage, so it should work both on 1.35 and 1.5V as I understand. 2) Will it be recognized and addressed correctly by my motherboard Not much to add here....

I received a Sandisk 32GB microSD from my dad who asked me to format it. Plug it into a USB-based adapter (no write protection switch) and tried to access it on my computer. Problems : right clicking into properties on the volume shows 0gb used / 0gb available , unable to access disk at it requires formatting. My computer has 64GB of ram and it shows 64GB in task manager. However when running a lot of programs the maximum memory usage it will get to is exactly 32GB or 50%. Any ideas what's capping the computer's memory usage?
