I am ruing Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and am using Vagrant to run a Ubuntu 14.04 Server with a LAMP stack setup. I am working on a Laravel 5.2 project, but constantly have issues with the permissions in the storage folder/sub-folders. Currently, the folders are owned by my user/group. Anytime some file needs to be created or written too, I get a permission denied error. I can fix this with by chmoding the files to 777. This however does't fix the issue of having the problem when a new file is made (for sessions). I could set the files/folder to inherit permissions of 777. I have tried to use "sudo vagrant" in with the provisioner file as when I've done this manually it has allowed me to install hubot. su vagrant cd /a/b/c yo hubot --defaults It gives me a permission denied error saying /root/.config/configstore/insight-yo.json you don't have access to this file. How can I explicitly state that the provisioner has access to the file when automatically installing all this shit?
