Ok, I already read how to swap fn / ctrl in bios. I enter bios, then go to Keyboard / Mouse, then Enabled Fn and Ctrl Key swap and also enabled fn key as primary function. Success. Now I can easily do f1-f12 without use fn key, that's good, can use ctrl f3 (or fn f3 actually because already swapped) example to increase sound. So Chrome freaked out one day and wouldn't load any pages. After completely uninstalling and reinstalling and reinstalling again using the dev chael and tuing off account sync and removing all history from the servers (ouch), I actually got it to work again as a browser but all my extensions are dead. They show the little puzzle piece (like in this question) and when I try to access the options or use them I get ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND. I have tried uninstalling them all countless times, via right-click and via the trashcan icon in the chrome://extensions/ interface. When I open Chrome again they are back. I thought about reinstalling each one from the market, but it says it's already installed (...

Don't look for the drivers on inteet, /sbin/vboxconfig builds them. The problem was the old drivers were still present and preferred. So I removed the old drivers and ran /sbin/vboxconfig again, this time it worked.sudo mv /lib/modules/3.16.0-4-amd64/updates/dkms/vbox* /tmp(Moving to /tmp instead of rm just in case)The directory may vary, I found it in the first command in my question with lsmod then modinfo. I hope this is the right place to ask this. My University lets students download a preconfigured executable of OpenVPN, where the settings are already branded in. Once you installed it, you just enter your credentials and you are coected. However, I noticed that it doesn't work anymore after the system is has been installed on is rebooted. If I install it, I get a successful coection with the VPN and can use it. If I restart my Laptop, it does not work anymore, but the Icons in the Tray still show a green screen. If I then uninstall it and reinstall it, without rebooting, it works again. The only difference in the log window when it's coecting, I notice when it does not work, one of the line...

This happens to me quite a lot, and I'd like to know if there's a way to prevent it or a better way to fix it than restarting my computer. Just like the title says, recently I've been noticing that when I'm selecting a group of items in a folder if I select some and click and drag over them again it deselects them. This never never happened before a couple weeks ago. I believe it started when I had an IT guy do a checkup on my PC. My System folders also have an aoying tag that says "System Folder" now but that can be easily overlooked. I am making several websites on a single workstation, so I want to test them in more or less isolated environment. Having some Linux background, I decided to make a chroot for each of these web apps. To be able to launch my app handlers from inside the chroot, I wanted to forward the visibility of /usr/local/bin to the chrooted container, but I fail to see a direct equivalent of mount --bind. I just installed ionic following this guide. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/31041366/how-to-install-ionic-framework-on-ubuntu and also installed ionic / cordova using the command from ionic framework but when I start the app using this command ionic start todo example this message keep on showing up giving errors. I had a desktop computer before and this fighting stick of mine was working pretty well. Before I got it to work, it was not recognized by the operating system (Windows 10). Now, I bought a new laptop and the controller is perfectly recognized but does not work at all. I have tried advices from steam forum but these advices are only for those who could not get their controllers to be recognized. What I literally want to do is to make my controller recognized as a game controller. But it is recognized as an usb device. When I try to change the driver, I have two options, and both of them does not work for me. What shall I do to make my computer recognize my fighting stick as a game controller...

I was setting up an LG LG 27MB85R-B 27" monitor at a desk and after I plugged in all of the cables and plugged the Mini-DP into my macbook. I tapped the touch sensitive power button and... nothing. This is very bizarre. I have never had this issue until now. Basically I have a little code in .htaccess that removes the .php extension from the web pages. For some reason, it has stopped working for me. Localhost and live server give the same error if I go the webpage without .php extension. Weird thing is, I have the exact same .htaccess file being used for another site and it works perfectly fine on both localhost and same live server. I would like to know what might be causing this?
