Allowing VMware Workstation share through CentOS' firewall filter
I have set up some virtual machines using VMware Workstation PRO 12 in my server (ruing on CentOS 7 3.10.0-327.28.2.el7.x86_64 keel) and it works fine as long as the firewall is disabled.
